Our foraging course invites you to slow down, observe, gather, and cook just like people used to—respectfully, curiously, and with wonder, right in the heart of nature and the Chianti region.
How the Course Works
- Guided Walk: Explore trails and vineyards as you learn to identify wild herbs, edible flowers, berries, and roots.
- Botanical Insights: Discover interesting facts about the plants you collect, when to harvest them, and their unique health benefits.
- Cooking Workshop: Prepare simple, tasty, and nutritious dishes using what you’ve gathered.

The Walk:
Join us for a guided hike through the Chianti countryside. Along the way, you’ll
learn to identify wild herbs, edible flowers, berries, and roots. Every plant
has a story, a flavor, and a special power.

The Cooking Workshop:
After gathering, we’ll meet around the table to turn nature’s gifts into
delicious dishes inspired by rustic and Mediterranean cooking. Think wild soups,
herb focaccia, and herbal infusions—each recipe is a return to our roots and a
step toward balance and health.

In the Chianti hills, at Osteria La Gramola, near Tavarnelle Val di Pesa (FI).
Dates available on request. Spring and fall are ideal, but nature offers
something all year round.
